FAQS

Do I need to drive?

Yes, you or your van mates will need to drive your own van. A valid driver’s license and basic comfort driving on paved roads. Canadian roads are well-maintained and easy to navigate. You’ll receive route guidance and support. Most days will only have 1-2 hours of driving.

Is it a fully guided tour?

Kyana and Viktor will be your guides and give you the route and itinerary every day so you do not need to plan anything! The trip is designed so that you can travel at your own pace or with others (with the exception of a few pre booked activities). You’ll likely see others in the group throughout your day, but it is not strictly a caravan trip. Every evening we will meet up at the campsite to hang out and talk about our days!

What if I want to skip or add something on the itinerary?

Totally fine. The daily itinerary is a suggested, not mandatory. You’re free to take an extra long hike, stop for a swim, or skip stops altogether. The only fixed points are where we camp each night and a few pre booked activities.

What kind of campervan do I get?

For this trip, we are partnering with Road Surfer. There are two van options, both fully equipped with kitchen, cooking, and camping supplies as well as bedding, and a toilet/shower. See more information about the Family Freedom Van here. See more information about the Couple Condo Van here.

What is the physical level needed for this trip?

You must be able to walk short distances without assistance. All stops are designed to be family friendly with options for more intense hikes when applicable. We do not offer guided hikes, although we may hike together as a group!

Who is this trip for?

This trip is open to everyone! There is no age group on the trip, and 5 children are already confirmed. This trip is for anyone who wants to make travel friends or meet like minded travel people. We recommend at least 2 people per van, because traveling with others is the whole point!
